Full-Stack Developer with NodeJS, Svelte/Kit, React or similar
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our team and take ownership of building and maintaining modern cross-platform applications.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying web-based applications using NodeJS, Svelte/Kit, React and similar frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact users worldwide, collaborating closely with other developers, product managers, and designers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient and scalable web applications using NodeJS, Express.js, HonoJS and front-end frameworks like Svelte/Kit, React and similar.
- Collaborate with the team to design user-centric features and enhancements.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to improve product development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js and one or more front-end frameworks such as Svelte/Kit, React, or similar.
- Excellent understanding of Git and version control as a whole.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.
- Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field is a plus.
Desirable, but not essential skills:
- Some DevOps experience will be highly valued, eg., working with Docker, Kubernetes, and management of Linux-based servers.
- Familiarity with Figma (from a developer perspective)
- Experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with unit testing tools.
- Experience with ORMs like Drizzle or Prisma.
- Experience with WebSockets and long-lived applications.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Good spoken and written English.
